{EN} DIY vegan vanilla chocolate muffin mix

I want to spread the vegan message and show people that vegan food actually can be yummy, so I prepared some vegan muffin mixes to give away on christmas, and here’s how you can do it  too!

What you need:

  • glass/bottle/jar (mine was for 1000ml because I wanted to put the instructions inside)
  • 150g wholewheat flour (or any other flour)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 80g dark chocolate,chopped (vegan)
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 1 pack vanilla sugar (~10g)

how to:

  1. layer all ingredients in the glass/bottle/jar, it looks nice when you start with something light (flour) and then continue with something dark (chocolate), add something light after that (sugar)
  2. take a small piece of paper and write the instructions:

pour the mix into a big bowl and stir – add 150ml soy milk OR 150ml water with gas and stir well – add three tbsps apple pureé and stir again – add one pureéd mango, or some more soymilk/water – grease a muffin baking dish with some vegetable oil or vegan margarine – pour the batter into the baking dish (paper muffin liners are not advisable) – bake in a pre-heated oven for 25minutes at 180°C – enjoy! 🙂

3. put the paper into the glass/bottle/jar or attach it to it

4. decorate the present and give it to a loved one, you’re done! 🙂
